Rocket File Capture Options:

Scan to Rocket file

This function allows you to use a variety of scanners to create digital images of paper, film, and photos. Once scanned, you have the ability to index your images immediately , or submit that image into a queue for indexing images at a later time. If multiple people are scanning to one particular queue, then individual batches can be created within a queue, each having its own distinctive naming structure for quick and easy indexing retrievals.

Print to Rocket File

In today’s organizations, all documents do not have to start as paper or film. Many of them are created electronically from a variety of business-line software applications. Rocket File provides you the ability to print an electronic copy of your content directly into the Rocket File central repository. This eliminates the need to first print your files and documents to paper and then scan it into the Rocket File repository. Just like our scan functionality, we give you the option of using the electronic print capture to either index immediately, or submit it to a queue for indexing at another time.

Import to Rocket File

Rocket File empowers you with search capabilities that enable you to browse out over your computer, network, attached storage devices and disk drives to directly import electronic files into the Rocket File solution. This functionality provides a quick method to capture any type of electronic file into Rocket File, allowing for easy indexing and retrieval. Now you can attach files together that previously resided in separate databases and software solutions.

Mass Import to Rocket File

With the Mass Import feature, you can attach preexisting databases of files and images to Rocket File. It will allow you to map the current indexing structure from an external data source, bringing in large amounts of content to Rocket File’s repository. The files will automatically be populated with the same indexing structure that existed from the imported database. This function allows you to bring in large amounts of data, from other business applications, without having to re-index each individual document or file.

Automated Forms Reader

This module will speed up paper capture by automating the indexing of high volume scanning. The Automated Forms Reader combines leading technology of Zonal OCR, Barcodes, and Auto Key Fill to identify what type of form is being scanned and where a particular value or word may reside on the form. Once the Forms Reader identifies the values that you would like to index the document by, it will auto populate Rocket File’s indexing module. In addition, the Forms Reader can use the identified value and perform key word looks-up from external sources. These look-ups will further automate the importing of any additional indexing values, needed by your organization. Though this is all done on the fly, as you scan high volumes of paper, the module allows for Quality Control Checks to verify the correct indexing values. The Forms Reader allows you to save time, by converting a manual indexing process to that of an automated one. The technology provides a quick and easy means of scanning and indexing large amounts documents and forms.

Rocket Fax

As part of the powerful Rocket File content management system, Rocket Fax is an integrated tool that provides an easy method to capture, retrieve , and archive incoming facsimiles. Just like other Rocket File capture products, once the faxes are indexed into Rocket File’s central repository, you have the ability to perform query-based fax retrievals using Rocket File’s interface or virtually any other Windows software application.

Rocket Mail

Rocket Mail is an integrated Rocket File email capture, retrieval, and archival tool. It is designed to automate the capture and indexing of an organization’s email. Both query-based and full-text searches make all archived email easy to retrieve. Rocket Mail provides a secured email storage and archival environment that allows you to manage your email through electronic retention schedules.
